Thanks, it's living a second life now after the rebuild. Since this pic I've upgraded the wheels, switched to a Vivid and installed some wider raceface bars.

Santa Cruz Team Replica Carbon V10 - Eurobike 2010

I love the carbon V10, just need to figure out how to break my 2005 aluminium V10 so I can trade up! One thing that seems odd considering this is a Syndicate race bike is the use of what appears to be a steel spring on the rear shock. With a carbon frame, carbon rims and a host of other weight saving parts they are obviously trying to make this bike as light as possible so why the steel spring?

Yeah, the Bullit is my all around bike for trails where I have to pedal to the top. The V10 is only for trails that can be accessed by shuttle or chair lift, though sometimes I'll hike it to the top.

Supposed to make a huge diff on VPP rides! I'm actually gonna pick up a set for the Kona & Hummeroid is gonna machine me some spacers to make 'em work on the upper link. Damn Iron Horse & their massive 10mm pivot bolts so I cant get a set on that bike!
